Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a UX Researcher to join a federal program. You’ll conduct research, usability studies, and cross‑functional collaboration to reveal user needs and improve product experiences for government projects.

Responsibilities include stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, and communicating insights to guide product strategy. We offer competitive benefits, and US work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional UX research experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Experience with diverse UX research tools and online collaboration tools.
• Experience planning and executing end-to-end qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Ability to select appropriate research methods based on project goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, engineering, product teams, clients, and stakeholders to define problems and drive user-centered product decisions.
• Support deep strategic thinking grounded in client and user discovery and research.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in iterative product discovery, design, and delivery cycles.
• Create research plans, personas, journey maps, and other artifacts communicating user needs.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users.
• Apply insights to inform product strategy and prioritize opportunities.
• Document research and testing with notes, photos, audio, video, and reports.
• Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements.
