Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a UX Researcher to join one of our federal programs. This role conducts research, performs usability studies, and synthesizes insights to guide product decisions across cross-functional teams.

You will plan and run interviews, usability tests, surveys; create personas, journey maps; present findings to stakeholders; and help the product team deliver intuitive and accessible experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional UX research experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust is required.
• Experience with diverse UX research tools and remote testing tools.
• Ability to synthesize insights and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the design team, engineers, product teams, clients, and other stakeholders to define problems, facilitate workshops, and drive actionable, user-centered product decisions.
• Support deep strategic thinking grounded in client and user discovery and research.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product direction.
• Thrive working with an agile development process and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout iterative product discovery, design, and delivery cycles.
• Create clear research plans, personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that communicate user needs and inform product direction.
• Partner with the design team to inform future-state user flows, information architecture, sitemaps, and wireframes.
• Plan and facilitate problem definition and co-creation workshops with stakeholders and users alike.
• Apply research insights to inform product strategy and prioritize user-centered opportunities.
• Document research and testing, including notes, photos, audio, video, and research reports.
• Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process workflow improvements, including standardized methodologies, tools, and templates for research deliverables.
