XKIG in Williston, SC seeks a safety-conscious tree climber to prune and remove trees for electric utility vegetation management. You will work under the Foreperson to perform climbs, rigging, and storm restoration assignments using ropes, saddles, and hand or gas-powered saws.

The role requires high physical fitness, the ability to travel for storm work, and adherence to PPE and first-aid requirements. X KIG offers full-time employment with health benefits and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming/removal
• Must be able to climb/descend trees with rope and safety saddle
• Must maintain first-aid and CPR certifications and be able to travel for storm restoration work

Responsabilités

• Climb, prune, and remove trees per Foreperson directives
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, debris; feed brush into chipper
• Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation
• Enforce safe job practices and keep area clean
• Perform duties for storm work as needed
