Job summary

XKIG seeks a Climber to perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal operations in Kentucky. You will follow Foreperson directions, keep gear and site safe, and assist with storm work as needed.

Applicants should have climbing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug screening apply. This is a full-time, on-site role with health benefits and 401K available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior climbing experience preferred in utility vegetation or related fields.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees per Foreperson’s directions.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush to chipper.
• Use hand saws, pole saws, pruners, and gas-powered chainsaws safely.
• Inspect tools and maintain safety of self and others.
