XKIG is seeking a full-time Tree Climber in the United States (Virginia) to climb, prune, and remove trees under Foreperson direction. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and enrollment in our 401K retirement plan.

Essential tasks include equipment inspection, safe operation of tools, and maintenance of PPE. Prior experience in utility vegetation management is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of climber experience in line clearance or similar field preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Climb, prune, and remove trees following Foreperson's directives.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Work from ground using hand saws, pole saws, pruners, and gas-powered chain saws.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of all tools and equipment.
• Safeguard employees and public by enforcing safe practices and keeping area clean.
• Perform storm restoration duties as needed.
