Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC in Chicago seeks a Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and field personnel in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability of utility systems.

You will drive proposals, contracts, and cost estimates, mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure work meets codes, client requirements, and safety standards. Travel as needed and career progression within HBK's Project Management Track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; ABET accreditation preferred.
• CAPM or PMP licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and field personnel in utility design and constructability.
• Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Mentor and develop project staff; manage budgets and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate design activities to comply with codes and client requirements.
• Monitor project performance and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
