Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in Chicago to lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and field personnel responsible for design, modification, analysis, and constructability of utility systems. The role involves coordinating design activities, preparing proposals and contracts, and ensuring projects meet client specifications.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; ABET accreditation preferred.
• CAPM or PMP licensure preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Coordinate design, modification, analysis, and constructability of utility systems.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and cost estimates with executive authority.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client requirements.
• Mentor project coordinators and junior staff.
• Manage project financial accruals, forecasts, and risk analysis.
