Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; 3 years of progressive utility construction experience.
• Six months of electronic plan review and markup experience preferred.
• Knowledge of water/sewer construction methods and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the mission and public trust by coordinating utility construction projects.
• Performs surveillance of utility construction work in progress.
• Ensures contractor adherence to standards and interfaces with consultants and staff.
• Reviews plans, attends pre-construction meetings, and marks up drawings.
• Observes construction, prepares as-built drawings, and tracks field progress.
• Maintains field logs with personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Reviews maps and layouts, interprets survey plats, and reports deficiencies.
• Performs related duties and maintains regular attendance.
