Job summary

• Review consultant plans, specifications, and bid documents for accuracy.
• Assist with bidding, contract award processes, and construction management.
• Provide public involvement support and project close-out activities.

Responsibilities

• Review and back-check residential subdivision, multi-family, and commercial development plans for compliance with city standards, design criteria, and codes.
• Prepare reports and recommendations regarding project progress, schedule changes, budgets, funding status, and grant management.
• Provide direction for project managers, technicians, inspectors, and consultants on engineering plans and interpretations.
• Coordinate major grant projects including application preparation, administration, and construction.
• Represent the City in internal and external project planning and coordination meetings.
