Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a dedicated Utility Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of loader, backhoe, and skid steer in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform groundwork, follow road construction best practices, and monitor site conditions to maintain productivity and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic mechanical aptitude; prior experience with utility systems is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on job level.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks as directed.
  • Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards on site.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust operations for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
