Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced construction environment in North America. You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steer equipment, support safe and efficient utility systems, and perform routine maintenance.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and teamwork across sites; candidates should have a high school diploma and any prior utility-system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
