Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced production environment, supporting safe operations of equipment and utility systems across North America. The role emphasizes strong safety practices and teamwork on construction sites in Alabama and beyond.

You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure site cleanliness and efficiency while following all health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating utility systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
  • Follow road construction best practices and remain site aware.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
