Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to develop designs, drawings, and BOMs for complex utility infrastructure projects across generation, transmission, distribution, gas, and telecom facilities. You will perform field engineering and coordinate with internal and external customers, ensuring schedules meet customer needs and safety standards.

The role emphasizes applying engineering standards, providing technical consultation, and contributing to high-quality design practices while supporting 24x7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with related experience or equivalent education.
• Proficient knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts, construction drawings, and bill of material for complex utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets and applies engineering standards and memos.
• Assists with technical consultation, plan developments, and recommendations for systems and processes.
• Evaluates effectiveness of current design processes and participates on design teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Associate's degree in a technical field

5-7 years of technical experience or equivalent education
