Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to design and detail complex utility infrastructure projects, producing construction drawings and material lists for electric, gas, and telecom facilities. You will collaborate with teams to meet customer needs and support New Business installations.

Responsibilities include applying standards, performing technical consultations, and evaluating design processes, with potential storm shifts and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field with 3+ years of technical experience, or an associate degree with 5+ years, or 7+ years non-degreed.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, layouts, construction drawings, and a bill of material for large projects involving utility infrastructure on Exelon assets.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards and memos.
• Assist with technical consultations, plan developments and recommendations for customer and company systems.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current design processes and participate on cross-functional teams.
