• Analyzes and resolves complex computer programs or problems that cannot be resolved by less experienced user services specialists.
• Provides informal hands-on training to users on the use of computers.
• Develops and maintains current technical documentation and online help files in Support Services.
• Develops and may present short courses designed to introduce users to hardware and software supported by Support Services.
• Participates in the development of software for Support Services on an as-needed basis.
• Conducts projects to install or evaluate software or procedures in its use.
• Provides support for printers and printer queues on the UH network.
• May provide training to faculty, staff and/or students in a formal classroom environment.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing technology support in a higher education orK-12 environment
• Familiarity with centrally managed Windows environments andenterprise endpoint management concepts (Microsoft Intune, SCCM,Active Directory / Entra ID)
• Experience supporting classroom AV technology and instructionalspaces
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Ability to write clear documentation and provide hands-onassistance to faculty, staff, and students
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt as the campus technologyenvironment changes
