Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing company, and is expanding its sales team with an opening for a Used Truck Salesperson. You will sell used trucks by engaging with established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory.

The role requires broad knowledge of the company's services, products, and marketing techniques, with a focus on aggressive outreach, relationship building, and accurate appraisals.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of company services, products, and marketing techniques.
• Product knowledge and direct sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; good organizational skills.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within territory.
• Maintains contacts with customers and stays updated on market trends.
• Identifies and profiles prospective customers and develops strategies to obtain orders.
• Provides company services to customers.
• Refers complaints and leads to appropriate department managers.
• Keeps records and reports on activities.
• Writes Used Truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
