Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group, has an opening for a Used Truck Sales Manager at the MHC Kenworth-East Atlanta branch. The role plans and directs the used truck marketing activities of the assigned locations and leads the sales and maintenance staff to meet company objectives.

You will develop sales programs, evaluate performance, manage inventory turns and gross profit, and build productive relations with wholesalers, dealers, and auction

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the wholesale/retail market.
• Sales and management training.
• People skills are essential.
• Willing to travel.
• Must possess strong work ethics.
• Team minded.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all activities of the Used Truck Department at branch(s) assigned to achieve objectives and sales targets.
• Develops a sales and marketing program to reach specific sales and net profit goals.
• Evaluates department performance against targets and takes necessary actions; appraises sales personnel performance.
• Manages inventory turns and gross profit through market analysis and reconditioning requirements for retail/wholesale.
• Develops and trains department staff to meet objectives and assists in selling efforts when needed.
• Maintains relations with wholesalers, dealers, and auction companies.
