Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do...

  1. Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  2. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  3. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives.
  4. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs.
  5. Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved effectively, develop action plans to correct deficiencies, and lead process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
  6. Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring sales and profit goals are met.
  7. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, support company values, and uphold standards of ethics and integrity.
  9. Build high-performing, diverse teams, creating a workplace of belonging where associates can thrive and perform.
  10. Act with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics, supporting Walmart’s culture, and making a positive impact on the community.
  11. Deliver results with a focus on customer satisfaction, using data insights to make decisions, and balancing short-term and long-term priorities.
  12. Encourage continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support change management.

At Walmart, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock purchase options, paid time off, and other benefits including education programs like Live Better U.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differential and performance bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay zones based on location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of all job-required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with responsibilities in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
