The position involves leading and developing teams through effective teaching, training, and active listening. Responsibilities include touring stores, providing feedback, communicating and collaborating across all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, and leading business initiatives. The role also entails modeling exceptional customer service, managing customer service initiatives, ensuring high-quality customer experiences, driving financial performance, managing budgets, and developing associates. Additional duties include overseeing job-related activities, supporting company policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace, acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence. The position offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits. Educational benefits through Live Better U are available, covering programs from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional performance bonuses and potential regional pay adjustments.
Applicants must have 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be necessary. All associates must complete required training and assessments.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports with responsibilities in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
