Job summary

UFORCE is standing up its first US manufacturing site and seeks a People Operations Generalist to be the on-site HR and payroll engine. You’ll own payroll for hourly and salaried staff end-to-end, manage onboarding, compliance, benefits, training, and be the daily go-to for HR/payroll questions.

A Senior Payroll Specialist will assist on setup, with global policies guiding you. You’ll land global cycles locally, align with managers on production needs, and maintain an auditable HRIS.

Qualifications

• Own end-to-end payroll for the US site for hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and audit readiness.
• Set up onboarding, benefits, training and employee inquiries.
• Partner with global HR to land cycles locally with production teams.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and payroll documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete payroll and timekeeping setup for the site with the Senior Payroll Specialist.
• Independently run payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including overtime and off-cycle corrections.
• Prepare payroll reports and support audits.
• Manage compliance filings: payroll tax, wage-and-hour, I-9/E-Verify, classification, postings.
• Run onboarding in the HRIS for all hires and maintain records.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and ACA reporting with vendors.
• Manage training assignments and track completion.
• Serve as the on-site HR & payroll point of contact per service standards.
• Coordinate with global People to land cycles locally.
