Job summary

UFORCE seeks a People Operations Specialist to keep day-to-day operations reliable and well organized as we grow. You’ll support employees through onboarding, verifications, and record-keeping, while learning our systems and workflows under the People Operations Lead.

In this early-career role (2–3 years HR/Talent), you’ll own routine tasks, contribute to improvement projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This fully remote position welcomes candidates based in Ukraine or the EU.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of HR/Talent experience with coordination and administrative tasks.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, with the ability to follow up and escalate when needed.
• Clear, empathetic communication and service mindset.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar HR systems and processes.
• Good judgment handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Be a day-to-day point of contact for employee questions and requests.
• Coordinate onboarding with Talent, IT and managers to prepare day one.
• Handle employment verifications with accuracy and discretion.
• Coordinate background checks and track cases to resolution.
• Maintain employee records in HR systems and documentation.
• Prepare routine employee documentation under supervision.
• Keep trackers and process guides current and flag delays.
• Contribute to lifecycle projects to improve workflows and documentation.
• Collaborate with People and Talent teams to move operations forward.
