Job summary

GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking a Payroll Analyst onsite to lead end‑to‑end payroll processing for US and UK employees. You will partner with HR to ensure accurate, compliant payroll operations and serve as the payroll subject‑matter expert.

The role emphasizes auditing, reporting, and systems work in Dayforce HCM, with responsibilities spanning timekeeping, compensation, and year‑end activities. Strong Excel skills and multi‑state knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years handling multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt workforce timekeeping administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state payroll regulations and company policies; handle international pay practices.
• Coordinate payroll deadlines, audits, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Auditing procedures and validation of state tax allocations and notices.
