Job summary

UFORCE, a defence-technology company, is hiring a Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist to own payroll processing and compliance across the US and Europe. The role involves leading UK payroll cycles, coordinating with US EOR and international advisors, and consolidating group-level reporting while also managing benefits and pension programs in every country of operation.

You will write SOPs, tighten controls, and move payroll in-house country by country, supported by auditors and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Direct coordination of global payroll providers and advisors across multiple countries.
• Experience owning UK payroll cycles end-to-end, with US payroll exposure.
• Experience with benefits and pensions administration, including renewals and enrollments.
• Experience moving payroll from external providers to in-house platforms.
• Ability to document workflows and controls to support audits.

Responsibilities

• Run UK and US payroll cycles from start to finish with data validation.
• Receive and reconcile monthly payroll data for entities running payroll locally.
• Own statutory filings and consolidated group payroll reporting for month-end close.
• Administer benefits and pension schemes across countries and renewals.
• Move payroll onto in-house platforms and set up new entity payrolls.
• Build payroll operating rhythms, calendars, SOPs, and control documentation.
• Coordinate with external providers to resolve discrepancies within deadlines.
• Answer employee questions on pay, pensions, and benefits promptly.
