Job summary

Aecon U.S. is seeking a seasoned Project Payroll Specialist to support our payroll team across US jurisdictions. You will ensure compliance with federal and state payroll laws, manage timesheets, and assist with payroll audits while collaborating with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of US payroll experience, strong IRS and FLSA knowledge, and proficiency in ADP HCM, SAP payroll, and Power BI. This role offers growth within a large infrastructure organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years US payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of IRS regulations, FLSA, state tax laws.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Proficiency with ADP HCM, SAP payroll and reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily payroll via approved timesheets in SAP.
• Maintain records for Timekeeping and Project Controls.
• Process timesheets, audits, and payroll changes.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, attendance reconciliations.
• Assist with multi-state payroll setups and compliance.
