Scale AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end multi-state payroll operations for US-based staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role emphasizes ADP and Workday expertise, data integrity, and collaboration with HR and Accounting. You will manage full-cycle processing, year-end tasks, audits, and system optimizations, driving continuous improvement and leveraging AI to maintain Scale's best-in-class

• 5+ years of payroll experience.

• Accuracy under pressure with high attention to detail.
• Experience with ADP WorkforceNow and Workday.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilités

• Full-Cycle Payroll Processing: Oversee multi-state bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for 1,000+ employees.
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws and FLSA regulations.
• Year-End Processing: Manage W-2/ W-2c and annual tax reconciliations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR and Accounting for data flow and GL mappings.
• System Administration & Optimization: Serve as SME for Workday/ADP and lead upgrades.
• Auditing & Continuous Improvement: Audit payroll data and drive AI-assisted improvements.
