Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to lead end-to-end payroll across multiple states from an on-site Chicago, IL location. You will ensure tax compliance, data accuracy, and timely reporting, partnering with HR, Finance, and Legal to resolve complex payroll issues.

The ideal candidate has 7–8 years in payroll processing, strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, and proficiency with SAP, ADP, and Workday. CPP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 7–8 years of progressive payroll processing experience across multiple states.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency with SAP, ADP, and Workday payroll systems.
• CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processes for multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Validate payroll data for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal to resolve payroll issues.
• Provide data analysis and reporting for senior management.
• Perform audits to validate payroll systems and processes.
• Support process improvements and KPI development.
