Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Lead in the US market to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for Hematology and Specialty Pharma, ensuring reliable supply, compliant service and strong customer satisfaction.

You will drive NDC-12 readiness by coordinating data, systems, traceability and program workstreams, and collaborate with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently deployed in a multi-disciplinary customer solutions role in the Bayer Pharma Division.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills across various levels of seniority; proactive in evolving customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; maintain oversight of third-party operations at Accenture and serve as escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues;
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as a subject-matter expert for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries;
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers; cultivate relationships with account managers, sales, finance and marketing teams to enhance engagement;
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs;
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards, dependencies and controls with interfacing functions such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners;
• Lead the integrated cluster plans and maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths, providing updates to PMO and leadership;
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions regarding NDC-12 implementation and Bayer's readiness approach.
