Job summary

Billor is hiring a US Fleet Operations Dispatcher (or Jr. Dispatcher) to manage a portfolio of independent drivers and drive efficient freight operations in Raleigh, NC. The role sits at the crossroads of dispatch, driver support, and load execution to keep trucks moving profitably.

You will work with a hybrid operational team, leverage our TMS and Billor technology, and interact with broker partners to optimize RPM and on-time performance while maintaining strong driver relationships.

Qualifications

• Manage and support a portfolio of independent (1099) drivers.
• Operate at the intersection of dispatch, driver support, and load execution.
• Improve profitability through efficient routing and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operational performance of a group of drivers.
• Source and secure high-quality freight through internal tools and broker network.
• Assist in minimizing operational costs (deadhead reduction, downtime).
• Manage loads in real time to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Plan routes using Hours of Service to maximize productive miles.
• Ensure accurate documentation (BOLs, PODs, check calls).
• Communicate with Driver Customers and Broker Partners.
