Job summary

Bridgeway is seeking a Fleet Manager/Dispatcher to grow revenue by building strong relationships with drivers and owner operators. You will coordinate daily truck status, loads, and freight needs, ensuring service goals are met and operators are dispatched efficiently.

Role emphasizes proficiency with TMS, Excel, and Power BI, with a focus on maintaining up-to-date equipment status and strong communication with Account Managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Dispatcher or Fleet Manager experience with a fleet of 25+ trucks.
• Ability to build strong relationships with drivers assigned to them.
• Ability to learn and become proficient with TMS.
• Multi-task in a busy environment.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel and Power BI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and act as a primary point of contact for company drivers and owner operators.
• Maintain truck location/status in the TMS and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure available trucks are loaded and dispatched daily.
• Communicate service requirements to drivers and customers.
• Plan equipment to meet customer needs and opportunities.
• Update Account Managers on load status and opportunities.
