Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a highly organized Practice Assistant to support patients and providers within the Urology Surgery team. The role focuses on smooth daily operations, serving as the frontline contact for patients, physicians and staff in a fast-paced specialty practice.

Responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/check-out assistance, billing, document management, and coordination of prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of office or administrative experience required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out.
• Answer phones, respond to routine inquiries, and coordinate appointments.
• Manage patient documentation and scanning into EMR.
• Process patient billing forms and collect co-payments when needed.
• Support prior authorizations, prescription refills, test results, and provider communications.
• Serve as scheduling, registration, and billing resource for colleagues.
• Assist with specialized scheduling, including surgical scheduling and schedule management.
