Job summary

United Medical Systems is seeking a Urology Scrub Technician to support urology procedures, set up laser equipment, and assist the Urologist in ureteroscopy and laser treatments. You will ensure HIPAA-compliant logs and proper inventory management while coordinating with facilities.

Experience in an OR and familiarity with holmium laser systems are highly valued, with emphasis on maintaining sterile technique and strong partner relations across clinical sites.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an OR setting.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Prior Holmium Laser utilization experience a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in accordance with Laser protocols.
• Set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedure.
• Assist Urologist in ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to start of procedure.
• Submit complete treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
• Review and maintain inventory of supplies and cystoscopy equipment.
• Confirm schedule and start times with facilities.
• Maintain relationships with physician partners.
• Maintain Policies & Procedure Manuals and review before inspections.
• Prepare equipment for transport and cleaning.
