Job summary

United Medical Systems is seeking a Urology Scrub Technician to support laser procedures in operating rooms. The role requires assisting physicians, setting up ureteroscopy and laser equipment, and maintaining procedural logs and inventory.

The candidate should have OR experience and preferably Urology background, with Holmium Laser familiarity as a plus. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a chance to work with a dedicated clinical team across multiple facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech or Surgical Technologist background preferred.
• Prior OR experience preferred.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in OR setting.
• Prior experience with Holmium Laser utilization for Urology procedures a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in accordance with Laser protocols.
• Move and set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedure.
• Assist Urologist in performing ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to start of procedure.
• Submit complete and legible treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
• Review and maintain inventory of supplies and cystoscopy equipment.
• Contact facilities to confirm schedule and start times.
• Maintain equipment and supplies for efficient procedures.
• Notify service engineer of equipment malfunction.
• Laser Specialist wears company name badge on premises.
