Job summary

UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Manager of Urgent Care Practice Operations to direct and supervise staff, volunteers and students across clinics, and to lead quality management programs within the practice site.

You will monitor policies, ensure budget adherence, and collaborate with leaders to implement strategic initiatives, improve performance, and sustain compliant, patient-centered care in a fast-paced onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in private practice or clinical office setting.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar productivity suites.
• Experience or training with ICD9 and CPT coding.
• Experience with basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff and business operations of physician and/or clinical practices.
• Maintains daily operations within current budgeted operating expenses.
• Supervises monthly revenue and patient activity reports for physicians.
• Provides input to strategic decisions and budgeting.
• Develops and implements clinic policies and procedures.
• Reviews metrics including QI, Safety, Infection Control, Exposure control and Risk Management.
