Job summary

UNC Health seeks a Manager, Physician Practice Operations to oversee the staff and business operations of physician and clinical practices at Pardee UNC Health Care. You will supervise staff, monitor daily clinic operations, and drive quality management initiatives in alignment with organizational policies.

The role requires strategic input on budgets and policy development, with a focus on safety, infection control, and operational excellence across the Turtle Creek Drive site.

Qualifications

• Active Driver’s License with access to transportation.
• Five years of experience in a private practice and/or clinical office setting.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience or training with ICD9 and CPT coding.
• Experience or training with basic accounting principles.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages the staff and business operations of physician and/or clinical practices.
• Delegates responsibility and authority to designated subordinates and oversees performance of staff.
• Maintains daily operations within budgeted expenses and provides supervision of daily work of associates.
• Reviews monthly revenue and patient activity reports for physician meetings and coordinates staff orientation.
• Contributes to strategic decisions affecting the functional area and assists with budget coordination.
