Summit Health is seeking an Office Supervisor in New York, NY to oversee the urgent care site operations, staffing, and patient flow. You will partner with the Practice Manager to schedule non-provider staff, manage supplies, and help ensure a welcoming, efficient environment for patients from arrival to departure.

You will supervise site staff, coach performance, and coordinate with HR on staff development while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in management or related field preferred (consider relevant management experience in lieu of degree).
• Minimum 1 year of supervising or managing experience required or a degree in management.
• Strong multitasking ability with good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual language skills may be required or preferred depending on location.

Responsabilidades

• Site Management: oversee patient flow, registrations, and follow-up after discharge; assist Practice Manager with scheduling for non-providers; order medical and office supplies; open/close site as required.
• People Management: communicate effectively with providers, coach and develop staff, handle performance and discipline processes; work with HR on staff development.
• Business and Patient Management: maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA; interact with patients and families at discharge, resolve disputes, review patient satisfaction.
