Job summary

American Family Care Concord is seeking an organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations of our urgent care center. You will supervise Medical Assistants, Receptionists, and X-Ray Techs, coordinate with Providers, and own the facility's performance from patient flow to compliance and financial results.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare management, strong leadership, EMR proficiency, and a proactive approach to scheduling, payroll, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare management experience in urgent care or ambulatory settings.
• Strong leadership skills with staff coaching and retention ability.
• EMR experience and proficiency with scheduling/payroll systems.
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain on onboarding.
• Solid understanding of healthcare administration, compliance, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor non-provider staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage daily clinic operations, patient flow, and scheduling efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as wait times, throughput, and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and internal policies are followed.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and performance management.
• Communicate performance data to leadership and drive improvement plans.
• Support on the floor during peak hours as needed.
