Banner Urgent Care Fort Collins is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in delivering high-quality care. The role involves taking vitals, assisting with exams and procedures, and coordinating patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualified candidates have accredited MA training and current BLS; MA certification is required or obtained within 12 months. The position offers full-time, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required or must obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for exams by taking and recording vitals and measurements.
• Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling test and treatments.
• Maintain charting and medical records for billing and continuity of care.
• Ensure a clean, safe clinical environment and manage supplies.
