Banner Health in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in a multi-specialty clinic located inside the Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. You will support clinicians, manage patient flow, perform vaccinations, injections, phlebotomy and EKGs, and handle essential clerical tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Banner-approved MA training, MA certification, and BLS, plus strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Banner-approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills with medical software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patient for exam by taking vital signs and recording the chief complaint.
• Assists with exams and minor procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinates care: pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, scheduling.
• Provides clerical support and accurate billing information.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and follows OSHA guidelines.
• Orders supplies and handles medication tasks as directed.
• Communicates with patients and external contacts to support care.
