Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Current BLS certification and Medical Assistant certification.
• Strong computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by recording vitals and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Handle clerical tasks and medical records for billing.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Order supplies and manage clinic inventory.
• Communicate with patients and care team to ensure quality care.
• Complete onboarding and simulation training as required.
• Work under supervision of providers and support multiple departments.
