Banner Health Urgent Care is hiring Medical Assistants to support clinicians in delivering fast, patient-centered care. You will assist with exams, vital signs, and minor procedures, while coordinating referrals and scheduling to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer and EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam and record vital signs.
• Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and ensure accurate billing information.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and sterilization as needed.
• Order supplies and manage medications and recalls.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
