NextCare Urgent Care in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and front office operations in a fast-paced setting. You will assist providers with exams, take vitals, and handle lab tasks while delivering patient-centered care.

The role requires completion of an approved MA program or equivalent, with national certification options. Proficiency in EMR/EHR and a team-oriented approach are essential. Eligible to work full-time with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an APPROVED (accredited) Medical Assistant training program.
• An UNAPPROVED program plus a National Certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams and vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and Provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection as required.
• Assist with splinting, casting, and physicals.
• Support front office tasks including patient flow and payments.
• Maintain lab processing and quality controls per policy.
• Notify supervisor of unusual patient or safety concerns.
• Cross-train for front/back-office duties as needed.
