Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a proactive Medical Assistant to support clinical and front office workflows in a fast-paced setting. You will assist providers with exams, administer medications, and perform routine clinical tasks while maintaining EMR/EHR accuracy and excellent patient communication.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed an approved MA program, and national certification. Experience in a team environment with strong customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification via CMA/CCMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent.
• One year of Medical Assistant experience may be preferred in some states.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with exams, including vitals and procedures, under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
• Support front office reception and patient discharge processes.
• Maintain EMR/EHR proficiency and ensure accurate patient records.
