Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care seeks a proactive Medical Assistant to support fast-paced clinical operations. You will assist providers with exams, take vitals, and help with front desk tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires completion of an approved MA program or national certification, with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and a strong patient-service mindset. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting our Oklahoma clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed an approved Medical Assistant training program or national certification.
• Proficient with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection as directed.
• Support front office reception when needed (wait times, discharge processes).
• Maintain EMR/EHR proficiency and accurate data entry.
• Follow laboratory and accreditation policies.
