Job summary

NextCare is seeking a proactive Medical Assistant in Oklahoma to support both clinic and front-office operations. You will assist providers with exams, perform blood draws, manage patient vitals, and help with discharge processing in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with MA training certification or equivalent, EMR/EHR proficiency, and a customer-focused approach to patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved MA training program, or qualifying certification if non-accredited program.
• Certification CMA/AMT/CCMA or equivalent through recognized body.
• Verifiable work experience or supervised exposure may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams, patient vitals and procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
• Support front office with patient flow, discharge processing and payments.
• Maintain EMR/EHR documentation and comply with lab/clinical policies.
