Job summary

Texas Regional Physicians Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Front Office Lead to support the daily operations of our urgent care front desk. This role will actively participate in patient registration, scheduling, referrals, and general medical administrative duties while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical front desk or healthcare office experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Strong communication, organization and confidentiality.
• Experience with front desk workflows and medical registrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day resource for front desk staff.
• Oversee staff assignments, workflows and expectations.
• Monitor front desk operations and address routine concerns.
• Delegate tasks and follow up on completion.
• Assist with training and onboarding new front office staff.
• Coaching and guidance, escalate to Director as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient registration, demographics, insurance and related info.
• Review schedules for accuracy and provider assignments.
• Support check-in/check-out processes and referrals workflows.
• Coordinate with scheduling, referrals, authorizations and insurance verification.
