Job summary

NextCare is seeking a proactive Medical Front Office Receptionist in Wichita to be the first point of contact for patients. You will manage registrations, insurance data, and appointment scheduling while supporting back-office workflows to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role requires at least two years in a physician office or urgent care setting, strong typing and computer skills, and a team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of front office/registration experience in a clinical setting.
• Typing and computer proficiency with Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from patients and input into EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and place patients into rooms as needed.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliations and statistics.
• Maintain front office supplies and functioning equipment.
• Answer calls with quality customer service and maintain a clean waiting area.
• Manage patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
• Notify back office of urgent medical concerns and educate patients on services.
