Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in the clinic. You will manage patient check-in, verify insurance, collect payments and input data into the EMR.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of front office experience in a medical setting, plus strong multitasking and customer service skills. This is a fast-paced, team-based environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of front office/registration experience in a medical setting.
• Typing and proficiency with Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient data and insurance information and input into EMR.
• Manage patient flow and room assignments.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure reimbursements.
• Process daily deposits and daily statistics.
• Answer phones with quality customer service.
• Maintain front office supplies and equipment.
• Educate patients on NextCare services.
• Notify clinic manager of safety concerns.
• Assist back office as needed.
