NextCare Urgent Care in Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our fast-paced, team-oriented clinic. The role is the first contact for patients, handling registration, scheduling and front office duties.

Minimum two years in registration or front office in healthcare, HS diploma, proficient with Windows software and EMR systems. You will deliver friendly service, manage wait times and support back-office staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in registration or front office in a physician's office, hospital emergency department and/or urgent care setting.
• Typing and computer proficiency in Windows based software.
• Ability to multi-task, provide quality customer service, prioritize and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from the patient and input information into EMR system.
• Monitors the flow of patients, including placing patients into rooms as needed.
• Completes all necessary insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement from payors.
• Prepares daily deposit, reconciliation, and daily statistical information.
• Answers telephone utilizing quality customer service skills.
• Notifies back office of urgent medical concerns and educates patients on services offered by NextCare.
