Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced clinic. The role involves handling patient check-ins, collecting insurance information, and coordinating with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of front office experience in a physician's office or urgent care, is proficient with Windows-based software, and can multi-task in a busy environment while delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of registration/front office experience in a physician's office, ER, or urgent care.
• Typing and computer proficiency in Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from the patient and input information into the EMR system.
• Monitor the flow of patients, place patients into rooms as needed, and assist with discharge preparations including charges and receipts.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement from payors.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliations, and daily statistics.
