Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first contact for patients in a busy clinic. You will manage registrations, insurance data, and patient flow while providing excellent service in a fast-paced team setting.

The role requires strong multitasking, basic PC skills, and the ability to educate patients about NextCare services. Join us to help deliver quality care with compassion and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years' registration/front office experience in a physician's office, hospital ED or urgent care.
• Typing and computer proficiency in Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from the patient and input into EMR system.
• Monitor patient flow and place patients into rooms as needed.
• Complete all necessary insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposit, reconciliation and daily statistics.
• Maintain front office supplies and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Answer telephone with quality customer service.
• Manage patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
• Educate patients on NextCare services for their current or next visit.
• Notify Clinic Manager of any patient or employee safety concerns.
• Maintain policies, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in education programs and training of new hires.
